Finalists unveiled for Fund Manager of the Year Awards 2025



Money Management has announced over 100 finalists for its annual Fund Manager of the Year Awards.
The 37th annual awards program brings a platform of recognition to professionals leading the way in funds management.
Run in partnership with research partner Lonsec Research & Ratings, the Fund Manager of the Year Awards recognises the full spectrum of professionals, from rising stars through to senior leaders and executives, to celebrate those making significant contributions to the industry.
A total of 116 finalists were selected, with those chosen set to battle it out across the 24 categories.
There were three individual submission-based categories to choose from, including BDM of the Year, Marketer of the Year, and Rising Star of the Year.
Meanwhile the group category finalists were selected by research partner Lonsec Research & Ratings.

Being named a finalist provides recipients with national recognition for their contributions of excellence throughout the year. This accolade has the potential to propel recipients’ careers to new heights while enhancing professional credibility.

The ceremony will also present an opportunity for members of the funds management and financial services industry to celebrate achievements across the sector while networking with industry leaders and peers.
With a judging panel including academics, business executives, entrepreneurs, and innovators, the 37th Annual Fund Manager of the Year Awards 2025 is a peer-reviewed recognition of professionals’ capabilities in fund management.
The judges assess participants using a robust judging criteria developed in conjunction with event stakeholders Money Management, Momentum Media, and Lonsec.
The judging criteria assess both quantitative and qualitative metrics while acknowledging growth, business development, diversity, leadership, innovation, business excellence, and contribution to Australia’s financial sector.
