Australian-based financial services software provider InfoComp has achieved a breakthrough in the British adviser market, striking a deal to provide the front and back-office systems for new wealth management service Novia Financial Plc.

InfoComp chief executive Rob De Dominicis said the deal represented a significant achievement and confirmed there was growing awareness of the company’s Composer software in the United Kingdom market.

“We are already a market leader in Australia and administer over $150 billion on the Composer wrap platform,” he said. “Adding Novia to our growing UK client list is the next step for our ongoing development in that market.”

InfoComp, which is the wealth management subsidiary of publicly-listed GBST Holdings, argues that UK wrappable assets are estimated to stand at around £2 trillion, with only around 1 to 5 per cent of this amount currently wrapped.
