InTech boosts resources
By Craig Phillips
Asset consulting firm InTech Research has further rejigged its senior personnel ranks with the creation of a new head of product and marketing role and the appointment of two consultants.
Michael Bonhote joins the group to take on the new product role from Deutsche Asset Management (DeAM) where he worked in the same capacity, while Angus Carson also formerly of DeAM joins as a senior consultant. Anne Blayney assumes a consulting role and comes on board from Russell InvestmentGroup.
The latest additions follow InTech tempting former Russell consulting director David McMahon out of semi-retirement to join as its director of consulting in late April, with Carson replacing senior consultant Corrin Collocott who left InTech to join McMahon’s former employers.
As for Bonhote, he brings 16 years financial services experience to the group having held senior positions with Macquarie Bank and most recently, DeAM.
“Michael’s extensive sales and marketing experience across both retail and wholesale markets, including a solid background in alternative assets and structured products, will be a major asset to our team,” InTech executive director Brett Elvish says.
Bonhote will report to Elvish, who in turn reports to chief executive Michael Monaghan.
