GESB delivers 'free simple advice'
Western Australian superannuation fund GESB has moved into the limited advice sphere.
The fund announced today that it had launched what it describes as a “free simple advice service” for its 310,000 members.
It said providing easy access to advice over the phone would enable GESB to improve the financial wellbeing of its members by helping them choose the plan that best suits their needs and ensure they were maximising their opportunities to make contributions through co-contributions and salary sacrifice.
Commenting on the service, GESB head of wealth management Fabian Ross said the fund was one of the first to launch a simple advice service to its members.
“The free advice will help our members take steps to control their financial future by providing a personalised recommendation designed to help them build their long-term financial wellbeing,” he said.
