Engineers Australia renews investment deal
Low-cost financial services provider 2020 Directinvest has renewed its member services agreement with the 80,000-member Engineers Australia to provide investment services to members of the engineering body.
The renewal of the arrangement, announced this week, will see members of Engineers Australia able to access a number of benefits including rebates on entry fees to managed funds, access to educational resources and fee for service advice, discounted margin lending rates and access to share ownership products.
Commenting on renewal of the agreement, Engineers Australia director of marketing Jamie Penrose said the decision had been based on 2020 Directinvest’s track record.
2020 Directinvest managing director Michael Lannon said the renewed relationship with Engineers Australia was based on his company’s ability to negotiate special fee arrangements for customers based on aggregating the collective investment buying power of members.
