Schroders strengthens Australian equities team

Schroders has appointed David Heard and Ray David as equity analysts to the Australian equities team.

Replacing former Schroders' analysts Kent Jenson and Alex Mears in March, the addition of Heard and David brings the Australian equities team to 13 portfolio managers, analysts and traders.

Heard joins the asset manager from Merrill Lynch Global Research, where he was a director and senior research analyst for Australian energy stocks.

David was most recently director and analyst for emerging Australian companies at UBS in Sydney.
