Centrepoint Alliance appoints new CFO
Centrepoint Alliance will replace its chief financial officer (CFO) and company secretary after the resignation of Ian Magee, who held both positions for more than 10 years.
Magee will be replaced in the CFO role by Glenn Toohey who joined Centrepoint Alliance in September this year as general manager of corporate development and projects.
The company secretary role will be filled in a joint capacity by Toohey and Centrepoint's corporate manager for legal Debra Anderson.
Toohey, a chartered accountant, has previously worked with BT Financial Group, Macquarie Bank, Bendigo Bank and Adelaide Bank. Centrepoint Alliance managing director John de Zwart said Toohey brought 25 years experience in the areas of customer-focused change, business building and risk management.
Centrepoint is the owner of Professional Investment Services and Associated Advisory Practices, which it recently purchased fully, acquiring the 45 per cent stake it did not own.
