BGL Corporate Solutions has added Aberdeen and Schroders to its contract note service.

As part of the partnership, BGL will automate the collection of contract notes, and buy and sell data for purchases of managed funds.

This includes the data for self-managed super funds (SMSFs) that invest in managed funds, which will now automatically flow into BGL's Simple Fund software, the administration software provider stated.

BGL managing director Ron Lesh said automating the contract note collection process would allow for timelier reporting of SMSF investments, which can potentially take weeks or months.

Aberdeen and Schroders are the first of 31 fund managers that BGL plans to add to this service over the coming months.
