Legg Mason recruits JP Morgan staffer



Legg Mason has recruited Colin Taylor away from JP Morgan to become Director of Sales, based in Melbourne.
The company said Taylor would promote Legg Mason's products and affiliate fund managers under Legg Mason's hybrid distribution structure encompassing both institutional and retail segments of the market.
Announcing the appointment, Legg Mason Australia head of sales, Beau Titchkosky said it underpinned the company's longer term growth plans and reflected the success of the business in developing tailored solutions under its hybrid distribution model.
Taylor joins Legg Mason after three years at JP Morgan as Vice President, Institutional Business.
