FormerPerpetualsenior executive Trevor Howell has become the new chief executive ofAM Corporationfollowing a reshuffle of the group’s senior management roles.

Howell, the former Perpetual strategic development head, will replace current AM Corporation chief executive Alan Rich, who will become AM’s deputy chairman and group chief executive.

The senior level restructure is a response to the group’s recent growth in funds under management and retail offerings. The management changes will also allow for a strategic focus on AM Corporation’s LifeTrack business.

With 17 years financial services experience, Howell is positioned to progress AM’s core business of retail superannuation plus the corporate super business.

“My challenge is to continue to build on the success that AM has recently enjoyed and provide focus on new online client services such as AM’s Bureau,” Howell says.

Howell will be only the fourth chief executive in AM Corporation’s 26 year history, a fact signifying stability in the group, according to a spokesperson.
