Allen key to the right package

Adviser Group founder Gordon Allen has joined Melbourne-based marketing company CPM Communications Group to launch a project management service for public offer investment vehicles.

The company, Prospectus Packaging, offers a professional service team to manage an offer from concept to distribution. The service, marketed under the Propak brand, includes expertise from Minter Ellison, Trust Company and Pitcher Partners. CPM will handle creative services while

Allen's Investment Services will manage distribution.

Allen says fund managers and dealer groups are having difficulties meeting the requirements of the Managed Investments Act (MIA), especially the creation of the Single Responsible Entity (SRE).

"The clients can use whatever parts of the partnership they need to meet their particular requirements," Allen says.
