Zurich Financial Services has added to its Western Australia life risk distribution team with the appointment of Ryan de Bruin as business development manager.

With more than seven years experience in the life insurance industry, part of de Bruin's role will be to manage client relationships in the region.

He previously worked as both a financial planner and BDM, most recently holding roles in sales and distribution with Tower and international risk insurer Discover Life.

"Ryan is a valuable addition to the team here at Zurich and we are confident that his industry knowledge and experience will further add to the success the team has already had in these past few years," Zurich regional manager for WA David Rees said.
