Vision Super appoints chief investment officer
Victorian super fund Vision Super has appointed Michael Wrysch to the newly created chief investment officer role.
The fund created the role in a bid to extend its investment management of over $7 billion in retirement savings.
“Michael will make a major contribution to our goal of growing both the super fund and the Vision Pooled Superannuation Trust (VPST), a superannuation product that has attracted two other industry fund clients,” Vision Super CEO Stephen Rowe said.
Wrysch is currently a senior investment consultant at Frontier Advisors, a role he has held for over 16 years.
He has 25 years investment experience and a background in asset allocation and capital markets.
His role will include overseeing the internal investment process, strengthening core internal investment capabilities, and managing the VPST.
He will begin his role on 2 June.
Wrysch’s appointment comes after Vision Super appointed Rowe as its permanent chief executive officer in December 2013.
