UniSuper makes compliance hires



Industry superannuation fund for the education sector, UniSuper, has announced two external appointments to its risk and legal services team, which will align with internal business clients and provide governance support.
The super fund has appointed Ruby Yadav as head of risk and legal services for finance, operations, technology and projects.
Yadav has experience in operational risk, compliance and internal audit functions in financial services and consulting. She has worked at ANZ, KPMG, and GE Capital.
Kate Humphries joined UniSuper as the head of risk and legal services for advice and employer relations.
Humphries previously held operational and compliance roles with dealers and financial advisers, including Zurich, DKN, Lonsdale and was most recently a consultant at Holley Nethercote Lawyers.
She has had compliance training and regulatory interaction experience.
UniSuper chief risk and legal officer, Sean Hughes, said the appointments will enable the fund to deal with investment management, financial advice and administration risks.
