RWC Partners, a UK-based asset management business, has appointed Huan Ke as head of legal and compliance.

Ke would be based in RWC’s London office with oversight and responsibility of its global legal and compliance functions.

He had 19 years of experience and joined from Macquarie Asset Management where he was head of legal for Europe, Middle East and Asia (EMEA) for the Macquarie Investment Management and Macquarie Private Credit business divisions for eight years.

In that role, he was responsible for managing legal matters for the two businesses across the EMEA region and advising on regulatory change.

Before that, he had been at Eden Rock Capital Management and Financial Risk Management, after he had qualified at law firm Clifford Chance.

Dan Mannix, chief executive at RWC Partners said, Ke brought experience across different asset classes and geographies which are fundamental to RWC’s future.

“It is exciting to bring in someone of Huan’s calibre and experience to RWC, as our organisation develops we see management expertise as critical to our development,” Mannix said.
