OneVue makes technology and compliance hires

OneVue has appointed an information technology specialist and a senior risk and compliance executive as it looks to develop a new adviser platform and make other fund services enhancements.
Patrick Stampfli will join the firm as its IT specialist, while Craig Giffin will join the firm as its compliance executive.
The appointments come as the firm recently split its developers and testers into teams committed to either platform services or fund services, with dedicated resources for each segment.
Stampfli was previously head of IT at BNP Paribas. In his role as deputy technology officer, he will help chief technology officer, James Thorpe, carry out a rigorous program between now and the end of 2016.
Giffin's role as head of compliance, legal and responsible entity services will include supervising the compliance and legal teams.
He previously held roles at NikkoAM, Fortis Investments, and ABN AMRO Asset Management, has experience dealing with jurisdictions in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan.
