Newly launched boutique fund manager Omega Global Investors has appointed Andrew Dunlevie as head of operations.

Dunlevie joins Omega Global from Alpha Investment Management, where he held a senior operations role.

He will be responsible for developing and implementing operations strategy for the business, its product range and investment solutions.

His appointment at Omega Global fills the last remaining key position on the management team, according to managing director George Vassos.

In May, Macquarie Global Investments acquired a 19.9 per cent stake in the boutique.
