New CEO appointed to Future Generation Investment Company

Funds manager, Future Generation Investment Company has appointed Louise Walsh as its new chief executive.

The company announced to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) this week that Walsh, the former chief executive of Philanthropy Australia, would begin her role this week.

The company's announcement said Walsh brought a strong mix of experience to the role and was previously a solicitor at law firm, Allens.

She will also be chief executive of the Future Generation Global Investment Company.
