New BDM at Australian Unity Investments

Shaun Thomas has joined Australian Unity Investments (AUI) as business development manager for New South Wales and ACT.

He was most recently associate director - key accounts and research relationships at HSBC Global Asset Management.

Before that, he held client relationship and business development roles at Macquarie Funds Group, St George Margin Lending and Comsec Broking. He was also previously a financial adviser with Australian Financial Services.

Michelle Hanger, AUI national manager - adviser distribution, said Thomas' strong network and skills would help drive the growth of the fund manager's distribution capabilities in the NSW and ACT region.
