Renato Mota has been confirmed as the chief executive officer of IOOF Group effective immediately.

The company announced to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) today that Mota’s appointment had been confirmed, with the company’s chair, Allan Griffiths stating it “marks a new era as we reset the business and focus on the future”.

He said the appointment confirmation had followed a thorough executive search involving external candidates.

Bloore had been an independent non-executive director on the boards of IOOF subsidiaries including Australian Executor Trustees and IOOF Investment Management.
