MetLife Australia announces new head of individual business

MetLife Australia has appointed former business development manager Julian Carpenter to head MetLife’s individual business.

Carpenter who has 15 years in the finance industry, including seven years in insurance direct marketing, originally joined MetLife in 2007.

Carpenter is now responsible for the development, distribution and marketing of MetLife’s individual insurance products, predominantly through direct marketing channels, MetLife chief executive Tassin Barnard said.

He replaces James Marshall in the role.
