Law firm grows specialist insurance team

National law firm, Barry.Nilsson. has expanded its Sydney-based insurance team.

Moving in response to client demand, the firm said it had added senior insurance partners Wendy Blacker and Con Kakakios to the insurance team along with special counsel Rory O'Connor and senior associate Jack Geng.

It said this followed on from the recent Sydney appointment of professional indemnity lawyer, Simon Black.

The announcement said Blacker is regarded one of Australia's top insurance lawyers, while Kakakios is a specialist in personal injury law.

It said O'Connor had more than 10 years' experience in the areas of insurance, litigation, and professional discipline.
