In an effort to further grow its regional presence, AMP Financial Planning has appointed Andrew Kennedy to the role of regional manager for its southern NSW and ACT practices.

With an extensive career in financial services spanning 18 years, Kennedy will focus on strengthening the company’s advice offering and assist planner practices in achieving their growth strategies.

The company has a strong presence in southern NSW and the ACT, and AMP Financial Planning managing director Michael Guggenheimer said in a statement that he is confident Kennedy’s significant industry experience will help enhance this further.

“I look forward to the contribution he will make to the team and to our practices in the region,” he said.

Kennedy most recently held the national manager post at INGFinancialPlanning, which adds to his practice management and practice development experience with MLC and experience as a financial planner within the funds management industry.
