Former UBS Asset Management chief executive Colin Woods has resurfaced as general manager, sales, at MLC.

Woods will now be responsible for the portfolio most recently managed by Peter Greenaway, who has moved into a business development role within Richard Nunn’s team.

Woods will also report to Nunn, who stepped into the role of executive general manager of advice and marketing for MLC and NAB Wealth in May this year.

Woods will have responsibility for distributing MLC investment, platform, and insurance products as well as NabInvest products.

Nunn said Woods’ “strongly aligned beliefs on rebates, commissions, conflicts of interest and transparency” made him ideal for the role, along with his industry experience.

Woods has worked in senior financial services roles both in Australia and offshore, including being the chief executive of UBS Asset Management from 2002 to 2007. Prior to his time at UBS Woods worked for JBWere in business development roles.
