Superannuation and investment services technology provider, Financial Synergy, has announced the opening of a new office in Wollongong to headquarter its recently-launched managed services division.

The company announced the office opening this week, stating that the managed services division was currently implementing support for its first three managed services clients, moving an existing administration client to the division, on-boarding a brand new fund for an administration client and implementing a managed services offering for an entirely new client announced earlier this year.

Pillar Administration, currently the subject of a sales process initiated by the NSW Government, is a key client for Financial Synergy.

Commenting on the move, Financial Synergy chief executive, Stephen Mackley, said the office location not only underscored the projects at hand, but also was in line with its model to leverage the benefits of its latest platform transformations and innovations.

He said the new office was being headed by Lynne Dhami, head of managed services and the build out of the local team with new faces had begun with a mix of business and technical specialists. Mackley said the team also represented a blend of new recruits and existing Financial Synergy expertise which is based both in Wollongong and also includes a team of 10 managed services experts operating from its corporate Melbourne headquarters.
