ET appoints new funds management distribution GM

Equity Trustees has looked internally to strengthen its funds management distribution.

The company announced this week it had promoted Eliza Weaving to the role of general manager, distribution partners - funds management, reporting into Harvey Kalman, executive general manager, Corporate Trustee Services.

Weaving is based in Melbourne and will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategic direction for the investment managers represented by Equity Trustees including SG Hiscock, LaSalle and Dundas.

The company announcement said Weaving, who joined Equity Trustees in March 2012 as a key account manager, would also support and manage the sales distribution team.  

Weaving has over 22 years' experience in the financial services industry, including within organisations such as Vanguard and AXA.
