Wealth management group Equiti Private Wealth has made two appointments, including a new head of advisory, in response to growth and demand for its recently launched property fund.

Robert Coyte will take on the role of head of advisory, while Scott Parker has been appointed as business development manager for Equiti Capital.

Director of Equiti Capital, Linden Toll, said the appointments were necessary to ensure the company could capture current opportunities in its wealth management division and respond to growing interest in the US Multifamily Property Fund.

Coyte has over 16 years experience in financial services, and comes to the role from Centre Capital where he was director. He has also held senior roles at Westpac, AMP Financial Services and Piccadilly Financial Group.

Parker has over eight years experience and joins the firm from Suncorp where he was strategy adviser. He has previously worked for Qantas, MFS and Real Estate Capital Partners.
