CUA adds seventh independent director

Credit union, CUA has increased the number of independent directors on its board to seven with the appointment of highly experienced director, Louise McCann.

The credit union noted McCann had more 25 years' experience in media and commercial market research and brand, and communications sectors in Australia, New Zealand and across Asia and that she is currently on the boards of the ASX listed Macquarie Media Network, Grant Thornton Australia, University of Notre Dame, the Australian Physiotherapy Association, and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Announcing McCann's appointment, CUA chairman, Alan Beanland said she would be a valuable addition to the board given her career in media, brand, and communications.
