CountPlus appoints COO and corporate advisor
CountPlus Limited has announced the appointment of Mark Chapman as chief operating officer, effective June this year, and has also enlisted Genesis Advisory to support the board in future merger and acquisition opportunities.
Chapman served both in corporate positions and as a former military leader, with his most recent role as chief executive officer of Bentleys Network.
Chapman said he was pleased to accept the position and work under CEO Matthew Rowe to further CountPlus in its next stage of development.
Rowe said the firm would benefit from Chapman’s unique leadership qualities and sector experience.
“Mr Chapman has a proven track record of excellence and his appointment along with our renewed focus on delivering value to our firms is a clear milestone in our turnaround strategy,” he said.
Commenting on CountPlus’ decision to appoint Genesis Advisory as a corporate advisor, Rowe said the firm had made significant progress against its two-year turnaround initiative, and, as such, the company was shifting its focus to growth.
“Our M&A capability will be an integral part of this phase,” he said.
