bfinance makes key APAC appointment

Independent investment consultancy, bfinance has announced an appointment central to the opening of its new Sydney office.

The company announced this week that it had appointed Frithjof van Zyp as director of bfinance Australia, to lead the company's expansion as it launches its first office in the APAC region.

The announcement said that Frithjof, also known in the industry as Fridge, was previously and most recently senior vice-president and head of data services at investment intelligent data firm, eVestment.

It said that bfinance, Frithjof's responsibilities would focus on the development of client relationships, engaging with major institutional investors across public and private pension funds, insurers, sovereign wealth funds, family offices and endowments.
