AMP Capital has made yet another senior appointment to its AMP Capital Infrastructure Equity team.

The company announced this week it had appointed Damian Stanley to the team as Principal, Investments, based in London.

Standley will report to AMP Capital Head of Origination, Europe, Simon Ellis, and will be responsible for leading transactions in the region for the global infrastructure platform and AMP Capital's institutional investors.

The AMP Capital announcement said Stanley had extensive experience leading transactions and managing assets within the infrastructure space, with a predominant focus on the transport sector.

It said he was most recently a director on the Australian board of Whitehelm Capital and Chairman of its UK subsidiary board and had held previous roles such as Head of Infrastructure Investment Advisory, Europe, Middle East and Africa at Morgan Stanley and Managing Director, Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets at Macquarie Group in Sydney and London.
