UBS AM adds new fund to its platform

UBS Asset Management has added new global equity fund, the UBS Emerging Markets Equity Fund, to its platform.
The fund, which would sit alongside UBS AM’s other equity offerings such as the UBS Clarion Infrastructure Securities Fund and the UBS Global High Conviction Fund, would aim to offer Australian investors access to sectors not well represented in the Australian market.
In its inaugural review, Zenith Partners Investments awarded the fund a ‘highly recommended’ rating and appreciated its investment team’s ability to “leverage the insights and research of the regionally located investment teams”.
According to head of UBS AM, Bryce Doherty, the fund was well received by the investment community and saw solid inflows.
“We are extremely excited to be bringing the best of our investment capabilities from across the globe to Australian investors. Zenith's strong endorsement highlights that our precision and depth of research over many years in this asset class is of very high quality," he said.
