Man Group grows institutional team

Alterative investment manager, Man Group, has appointed an institutional sales manager, to build its institutional long-only investment strategies presence.
Chris Comino would join the firm's Sydney team and report to the managing director, Hersh Gandhi.
Comino had over 25 years' experience in the financial services industry and joined the group from HSBC Global Asset Management, where he worked in institutional sales. He also held roles at Merrill Lynch, HFA Asset Management, and IPAC Investment Securities.
"We continue to see growing interest from institutional investors in our offering of investment strategies and Chris [Comino] will play key role in helping us to meet that demand," Gandhi said.
Over the past five years he worked with leading emerging markets debt portfolio manager, Guillermo Ossess, who also joined Man Group at the start of 2016.
