Legg Mason products on Macquarie Wrap
Legg Mason has had two of its products included on Macquarie Wrap’s separately managed account (SMA) investment option.
The fund manager announced today that the Martin Currie Real Income and Equity Income Funds were now available on the SMA investment option.
Commenting on the development, Legg Mason managing director, Australia and New Zealand, Andy Sowerby said inclusion of the products on the platform reflected growing demand from investors who were keen to access income generating strategies in the current low yield, low return environment.
“The Legg Mason Martin Currie Equity Income and Real Income SMAs are based on the same investment process as the highly successful funds launched in the Australian market a few years ago, managed by specialist equity manager, Martin Currie Australia,” he said.
