IRESS has extended its North American presence with the launch of its wealth management platform in Canada.

Iress Canada vice president of sales Michael Harrison said the private wealth management system - currently available in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Asia and the United Kingdom - adapts to regional and jurisdictional compliance frameworks.

The system also includes an online portal that allows advisers to share portfolio information and data, as well as the capability to generate single and bulk order execution.
