Equity Trustees re-hires Alan O’Brien
Financial and fiduciary service provider, Equity Trustees, has appointed Alan O'Brien as a senior manager of relationships and oversights in their corporate trustee services (CTS) team, based in Melbourne.
The firm said he would be responsible for working with new and existing responsible entity clients as he had a great mix of international and local perspectives and experience.
Equity Trustees Corporate Trustees Services executive general manager, Harvey Kalman, said that was particularly important with the introduction of audited consolidated financial statements (AMITs) and calculated intangible values (CIVs) both to their Australia and international clients.
This was a return to Equity Trustees for O'Brien, who previously held a relationship manager role with the business from 2000 to 2003.
He also held other relationship and regulatory roles in financial services both here and abroad, and had experience in equities, fixed interest and structured finance.
He previously worked with JPMorgan, BNY Mellon, and the Irish Stock Exchange while overseas, and ANZ and NAB in Melbourne.
