WB Financial on the growth trail
Brisbane-based dealer group WB Financial Management (WBFM) has added two practices to the brand as part of a new growth strategy, following its receipt of a quality assurance (QA) certificate from the International Standards Organisation (ISO) in April this year.
WBFM, which claims to be the first independently-owned AFS licensee in the planning sector to achieve QA accreditation from the ISO, has opened new practices in Brisbane and Sydney within the past month.
Former Apogee planning licensee Alan Henderson joined WBFM in Sydney’s CBD last week, bringing the group’s number of offices nationwide to 18.
Henderson said his shift of his practice to the WBFM banner was “sparked by a desire to meet the diversity of his expanding client base”.
“As our business grew over the last few years, we became keenly aware of the diversity of financial goals and the need to further tailor our service to suit their needs,” he said.
Earlier last month, former Securitor planner Jason Cook joined WBFM to open a new office in Bowen Hills, Brisbane, bringing the number of offices to 17.
WBFM adviser associate Despina Emanouil transferred from another Brisbane-based practice to assist Cook, who also spent many years consulting to a high-valued portfolio of clients for one of Australia’s leading banks.
