Van Eyk boosts research capabilities
Van Eyk Researchis steadily expanding resources within its research and iRate online desktop tool divisions with the announcement of two new appointments today.
In addition the research firm is also looking to appoint a senior research analyst as part of its strategy to bolster its fund manager research team further and raise the level of service on offer to the group’s wholesale client base, van Eyk director Mark Thomas says.
As for the latest appointments, formerColonial First Statefund accountant Trinh Nguyen has joined the manager research team as a quantitative analyst, while Nicole Krebs, who also joins the group from Colonial where she was an adviser services representative joins the iRate support team as a customer service representative.
Nguyen, who specialised in master funds and statutory funds in her time at Colonial, will report to van Eyk associate director Dragana Timitojevic, while Krebs’ appointment has been fuelled by a rise in the number of subscribers to the iRate tool.
“We are pleased to be able to attract new staff of such a high calibre to enhance our growing research and online capabilities,” Thomas says of the two new staff members.
