New number one for ThreeSixty
MLC has appointed Lisa Boyce as head of its ThreeSixty Research team in a bid to enhance its service to advisers.
Previously, she was the state manager for MLC’s business review group and has also held roles at Godfrey Pembroke as a managed funds research analyst and ThreeSixty as head of managed funds research.
Boyce said she planned to redefine ThreeSixty’s internal research processes and better leverage the external research available in the market.
“We currently utilise providers such as Trowbridge Deloitte, Aegis and Chant West and, moving forward, we want to complement our specialist in-house skill set with additional research providers,” she said.
“Leveraging external research will free-up capacity in the ThreeSixty Research team to further focus on the areas where there is limited research coverage in the market, such as alternative investments.
“We believe we can add greater value to advisers’ businesses by focusing our efforts on specialist research services, rather than undertaking research which is readily available from other providers.”
Michelle Jess, who has been newly appointed as the research manager for managed investments, will be supporting Boyce.
Jess has worked in the financial services industry for more than eight years, including a previous role as a managed funds research analyst at ThreeSixty.
