Ballast grows business with new partnership

Financial services provider Ballast has entered into a strategic alliance with First Class Accounts that will see the group provide its services to all First Class bookkeepers and their clients.
Ballast general manager Frank Paratore said the alliance would add a financial services aspect to First Class' business through Ballast's full-service lending and aggregation platform.
"Our relationship with Ballast enables all First Class Accounts franchisees to provide our clients with access to a variety of financial services, saving them time and money," First Class Accounts managing director Clive Barrett said.
The announcement follows the appointment of Ballast's manager, strategic partnerships, Kevin Frost in February. At the time, Ballast stated that it had plans to increase its business development presence.
