Austock has poached a team of five financial planners from financial services firm Ord Minnett for its new financial planning division.

The team of five includes John Short, who was the Victorian practice manager for Ord Minnett Financial Planning and senior financial planners Carol Hay and Vince Novelli.

Together the team has over 20 years experience in the financial services industry and over 12 years experience at Ord Minnett.

“John, Carol and Vince are a highly experienced and credentialed team who will add great depth to the growing talent pool,” Austock head of private clients Scott Young said.

“The commencement of this business continues the expansion of our retail advisory capabilities and Austock’s growth strategy in becoming a robust, innovative and diversified financial services group,” he said.

The Austock financial planning division will commence operation next Monday.
