MLC Life Insurance has thrown its support behind the 10th annual Super Fund of the Year Awards as platinum partner.

The 2023 Super Fund of the Year Awards black-tie gala ceremony will be held at Grand Hyatt Melbourne on Wednesday 25 October 2023. Click here to buy your tickets.

The awards will be run with the support of life insurer MLC Life Insurance, which has signed on as platinum partner.

Commenting about the partnership, MLC Life Insurance chief group insurance officer Mark Puli said: “We’re proud to support the 2023 Super Review Fund of the Year Awards, which are set to recognise the exceptional performance and innovation within Australia’s superannuation industry.

“We know firsthand that our partnerships with Australia's top super funds are paving the way for better retirement outcomes for members. As one of Australia’s most experienced and trusted insurers, we’re committed to delivering better outcomes for members throughout their lives. That’s our promise for life.”

The Super Fund of the Year Awards are the pinnacle program that provides national recognition to the top businesses and professionals in the superannuation sector.

The awards champion super fund trustees and executives, group insurance executives, and custodians who have consistently achieved outstanding results in their business and exceptional outcomes for clients.

There were 24 individual and group categories on offer this year, out of which two are submissions-based, and one will be determined through a vote by financial advisers.

The first – which is Industry Thought Leader of the Year – will recognise a thought leader who champions growth, development, and success by voicing new and challenging ideas, and articulates the desired direction of the industry.

The second category – the Marketer of the Year award –will recognise a leading marketing, PR, or communications professional who supports the superannuation sector via the provision of services to managers and firms.

The recipient of the Best Super Fund of the Year award will be determined by a vote by financial advisers.

The remaining 19 categories will be judged by SuperRatings.

As such, a Super Fund of the Year award is peer-reviewed recognition of your capabilities in superannuation advice and passion for propelling the industry forward.

Finalists will be announced on Tuesday 12 September 2023.
