BGL releases new Bank Data service
Following a range of functionality improvements completed in the last 12 months, self-managed super fund (SMSF) administration software provider BGL Corporate Solutions has announced the release of a Bank Data service that will attach to its Simple Fund and Simple Fund 360 services.
Commenting on the release, Ron Lesh, managing director for BGL, said that the Bank Data service served to complete the SMSF administration picture for clients.
"BGL's Bank Data service completes the picture," he said.
"Over the past 12 months we have released bank data, contract note data (now supporting over 70 brokers) and registry data.
"And with these three services, BGL completes the SMSF dream by providing first class automation for our clients."
According to Lesh, BGL Bank Data Services supports ANZ, BankWest, Bank of Melbourne, Bank of South Australia, Commonwealth Bank, Macquarie Bank, National Australia Bank, St George and Westpac with a number of other banks yet to be added.
"The most arduous part of obtaining bank data is the authority process," he said. "So we have established a transition team to prepare authority forms for clients.
"Clients simply email BGL a spreadsheet generated by our Simple Fund software," Lesh continued. "All clients need to do is call us to get up and running.
"We will do the rest."
