Towers Watson has appointed Louise Oakley to its strategy group as an investment consultant and Brent Snow as an investment analyst.

Oakley joins Towers Watson from Mercer where she was an investment consultant focusing on strategy and asset allocation. She brings nine years industry experience, and has previously worked at Mellon Human Resources and Investor Solutions.

Oakley will focus on providing investment strategy advice and conducting asset class research.

Snow worked most recently at Tarrants Financial Consultants as a client adviser and was previously at UBS Wealth Management in Chicago.

The new hires follow the earlier recruitment of Alek Misev as an investment consultant in the portfolio construction group, and Vineta Salale as an investment analyst.

“We believe that investment strategy, rigorous research and analysis are key to delivering compelling ideas to clients that give them a competitive edge and to this end, we will continue to strengthen our teams in these areas,” said Graeme Miller, head of Towers Watson’s Australian investment business.
