Standard & Poor's appoints new ratings specialist
Standard & Poor’s Fund Services (S&P) has appointed a new ratings specialist to its fund research team. Vesna Peroska will be primarily responsible for equities and based in Sydney.
Peroska has nine years investment industry experience and joins S&P from Aberdeen Asset Management Australia, where she worked in the diversified assets team.
She has previously held various analytical roles at Credit Suisse Asset Management, most recently as an investment analyst for the international equities funds.
S&P has also appointed a new sales director, Troy Williams, bringing the number of the company’s staff to 29, including 18 fund analysts.
S&P currently rates approximately 600 investment capabilities representing over 2,000 funds. The company expects further growth as product manufacturers launch new offerings into the recovering market.
