Standard Life recruits Aberdeen’s Archie Struthers
Investment manager, Standard Life Investments has recruited senior Aberdeen Asset Management executive, Archie Struthers as its new Head of Investments.
The company said Struthers would join Standard Life Investments in early January and report to chief investment officer, Rod Paris.
It said Struthers had been global head of Investment Solutions at Aberdeen and would now be responsible for investment governance, the investment operating platform, MyFolio and derivates counterparty management.
The announcement said Struthers would assume the responsibilities of Bill Lambert, Head of Investment Process who is retiring in March 2017 after 13 years at Standard Life Investments and 27 years in the investment industry.
