SSGA SPDR ETFs makes two appointments

State Street Global Advisors SPDR ETFs have expanded their national distribution team with two new Sydney-based appointments.

Linda Stangherlin has commenced as National Relationship Manager ETFs, where she would focus on the distribution of SPDR ETFs and SSGA model portfolios across research houses, and intermediary and institutional channels, SSGA said.

Stangherlin joins State Street Global Advisors SPDR ETFs from Zurich Financial where she was most recently national sales manager, investments. Prior to this, Linda held roles with Colonial First State, Russell Investment Group, ING Australia, HSBC and St George Bank.

Sinead Schaffer has joined SSGA as a business development consultant. Prior to joining State Street Global Advisors SPDR ETFs, Schaffer held a key role in BT Financial Group’s national and NSW distribution team.

“The range of skills and experience that our two new team members bring to their respective roles adds real depth to our Australian team and will contribute greatly to our growth,” said SSGA head of SPDR ETFs Australia, Meaghan Victor.
