PIS appoints first head of risk
Professional Investment Services (PIS) has announced the appointment of Mark Stubbings (pictured) as first head of risk – a newly created position within the group’s senior ranks.
Risk currently forms 40 per cent of PIS’s advice revenue and Stubbings would focus on continuing the growth, the company said.
Stubbings would manage the alignment of relevant resources within the greater PIS business (professional standards and advice revenue) and launch a series of new risk initiatives including the creation of the Business Insurance & Estate Planning Academy.
Stubbings was internally promoted, previously holding risk distribution and advice roles within PIS.
