New GM for Meritum Financial group

National Australia Bank (NAB) has appointed a new general manager to its Meritum Financial Group.

The big banking group announced that it had promoted its manager of business growth for NAB and MLC's Advice Partnerships, Stephen Poole to the role.

Confirming the appointment, NAB Wealth general manager of Advice Partnerships, Ross Barnwell noted that Poole had around 30 years' experience in the financial planning industry including within the Keystone Partnership, Professional Investment Services and Suncorp Life.

Poole will take up his new position in January.
