Morningstar’s head of research, Anthony Serhan, has been appointed managing director of Intech.

Morningstar acquired the Intech business from IOOF last month. Intech had previously sat within the operations of Skandia, which was acquired by IOOF earlier this year.

Serhan, who had been head of research at Morningstar for five years, succeeds John Gethin-Jones as the head of Intech.

Morningstar is yet to announce a replacement for Serhan as head of research.
